Cricket came
to us with her brother Maverick as fosters for the Ibizan Hound
Club of the United States Rescue in January 2009. It took
time for Cricket to trust us and feel at ease in the house.
During the transformation we fell in love with her. She
has become very bonded to us! We have fostered many dogs
and each one is very hard to let go, but there was something
about Cricket where we knew she was here to stay. She is
one of the cutest dogs. Her mannerisms and the way she
goes about life makes us smile everyday. She behaves a lot
like a puppy who is discovering new things all the time.
She is shy
with new people but loves other dogs.
Cricket loves other dogs, puppies,
and cats. We were fostering
some puppies for the local humane
society and Cricket took as her
job to be the "puppysitter".
She loved playing with the puppies
and was so good with them. She
was always very careful not to hurt
them and was very tolerant of them.
