Ferran's Pedigree

Ferran was imported from Spain by his owner Teddy Burke.  I fell in love with his looks and personality after visiting the Arbeca Hounds.  I asked Teddy if I could show him down here in Florida for a little while.  I am a novice in the show ring but that didn't stops us.  I started showing Ferran in April where he got 3 majors in his first 4 shows.  He then went on to pick up his singles and received his AKC Champion in Sarasota, FL on July 7, 2007.  In October he tried coursing for the first time and is crazy for the lure.  At home Ferran is  an easy going, sweet, and good natured dog.  He spends his days hunting squirrels, lizards, and playing with his best buddy Kadin.

In October Ferran goes coursing for the first time and loved it.  He has a lot of drive for the lure.  He is currently working towards his ASFA Field Champion.

Ferran was shown 4 days out of the competitive 10 day January Brooksville, FL circuit.  It was his first time out as a special and he went BOB 3 of the 4 days he showed and BOS the other day.  He was shown by Harry Bennett.
