Ferran's Pedigree

Ferran was imported from Spain by his owner Teddy Burke.  I fell in love with his looks and personality after visiting the Arbeca Hounds.  I asked Teddy if I could show him down here in Florida for a little while.  I am a novice in the show ring but that didn't stops us.  I started showing Ferran in April 2007 where he got 3 majors in his first 4 shows.  He then went on to pick up his singles and received his AKC Champion in Sarasota, FL on July 7, 2007.  In March 2009 Ferran became an ASFA Field Champion.  He loves to go coursing and has received 3 ASFA Best in Fields.  At home Ferran is  an easy going, sweet, and good natured dog with a wonderful temperament.  He spends his days hunting squirrels, lizards, and playing with his beezer buddies.

Ferran is in the top 20 Ibizan Hounds for ASFA lure coursing in 2009

Ferran has a lot of drive for the lure.  One March 8,2009 Ferran became an ASFA Field Champion.

Ferran has received 3 ASFA Best in Fields! 

Ferran was shown 4 days out of the competitive 10 day January Brooksville, FL circuit.  It was his first time out as a special and he went BOB 3 of the 4 days he showed and BOS the other day.  He was shown by Harry Bennett.
